Reviewing on Backtracking

Admittedly, I had a problem with this project at first. I am not a patient person and so, obviously, making so many little dots and crosses bothered me. It was a very methodical piece of work, for sure. But the most problems I had with this project were mental. I had a problem with drawing my hero and my own face. Honestly, it bothered me seeing myself on paper, but once I got more accustomed to seeing my face staring back at me while I drew, I was able to pull through and create a fair piece of artwork. The same thing happened with my hero as well. My worst problem was comparing myself to other artists in my class. I'm telling you now, don't ever do it! No one's art styling is the same as yours whether you like it or not. So get used to your art, and come to love it. I did.
